Security+ for a whole class

Buy a block of seats for the semester and hand your students one code. You get a page that shows who is actually studying, and they get the whole product until the license runs out.

What a seat is

Everything in the product, for the length of the license

  • All five SY0-701 domains: lessons, quizzes, and the mastery gate that keeps a student on an objective until they can pass it
  • Performance-based questions and hands-on labs, the part of the exam most study material skips
  • Timed full-length mock exams, graded on the server
  • Video lessons across every domain
  • Spaced repetition that schedules review of what each student has already mastered

None of it is held back for the paid tier, because there is no other tier. A seat is the same product a student would buy, on your license instead of their own.

For the instructor

One page that answers who is working

Your classroom page lists every student on a seat: days studied, the date they were last active, how much of each domain they have mastered, and their best mock exam. Sort by last active and the quiet ones come to the top. There is a CSV button when you need the table in a spreadsheet.

It is read-only, and it stops well short of surveillance. You never see a student's email address, their answers, or their settings. Every student reads that same list on the page where they join, before they join.

Questions

The things every department asks

  • How do students join?
You give the class one code. Each student makes a free account, opens the redeem page, and types it in. You can also share a link with the code already in it, so there is nothing to type at all.
  • What can an instructor see?
The roster name each student enters, the day they joined, how many days they have studied, when they were last active, how much of each of the five domains they have mastered, and their best mock exam score.
  • What can an instructor not see?
Email addresses, answers to individual questions, and account settings. The classroom page shows whether the work is happening, not what anybody typed.
  • When does access end?
On the license end date you choose. Access stops there for everyone on a seat. Nothing renews on its own, because there is no card on file to charge.
  • What happens to a student account afterwards?
It stays theirs. Progress, review schedule and mock exam history all survive the license; they drop back to the free tier, which is all of Domain 1, and can buy Lifetime at any point to keep the rest.
  • Does the pass guarantee apply to seats?
No. The guarantee belongs to the 90-Day Pass a student buys for themselves. A seat is licensed to the institution instead, on the terms set out in our Terms.
  • Can we run a pilot first?
Yes. Say so in the quote form and we will set up a short license for one section, so you can watch it work with real students before committing a department.
