DomainKeys Identified Mail
An email authentication method that signs messages to prove domain origin.
DomainKeys Identified Mail adds a digital signature to outgoing email using a private key, and receivers verify it against a public key published in the sending domain's DNS. A valid signature shows the message was authorized by the domain and was not altered in transit. DKIM works alongside SPF and is tied together by DMARC to reduce spoofing and phishing.
