MOA
Memorandum of Agreement
A formal agreement defining roles and responsibilities between parties.
A memorandum of agreement is a cooperative document that defines the specific roles, responsibilities, and contributions of each party toward a shared objective. It is more concrete and action oriented than a memorandum of understanding, often spelling out who does what, yet it is typically less rigorous than a full commercial contract. In vendor and partner risk management it clarifies expectations and accountability. For the exam, contrast it with the MOU, which signals intent, and with the SLA, which sets measurable service metrics.
Looking MOA up is step one. Getting tested on it is step two.
