TAXII

Trusted Automated eXchange of Indicator Information

A transport protocol for sharing STIX threat intelligence.

Trusted Automated eXchange of Indicator Information is the application protocol designed to transport cyber threat intelligence, most commonly STIX content, between producers and consumers. It supports models such as collections that clients pull from and channels for publish and subscribe distribution, enabling automated, repeatable sharing. This reduces reliance on manual report exchange. The recurring exam point is the pairing: STIX is the standardized language describing the intelligence, and TAXII is the delivery mechanism that moves it securely between parties.

Memory hook

Trusted Automated eXchange of Indicator Information: the transport that delivers it (the "how"). STIX writes it, TAXII ships it.
