VPC
Virtual Private Cloud
An isolated, logically private section of a public cloud.
A VPC is a logically isolated section of a public cloud where a tenant controls subnets, route tables, gateways, and security groups to enforce private addressing and segmentation. It is the cloud counterpart to traditional network isolation and operates within the shared responsibility model. Misconfigured security groups or overly permissive routes are frequent causes of cloud exposure. Defining tight ingress and egress rules is essential to keep workloads from being reachable from the public internet.
Looking VPC up is step one. Getting tested on it is step two.
